What kind of photos do you take?
I am a photographer of love, that includes family love, intimate love and self love. While I do specialize in couples and wedding photography, I love portraits, boudoir photos, and family sessions. I also offer headshots/branding sessions.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings I’m booking anywhere from a year to a year and a half in advance, my best advice is to send me a message as soon as you’ve decided on a date and booked a venue. For all other sessions I book about a month to two months in advance.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Sometimes living in Alberta we get unpredictable weather, we pretty much have two options at that point. One we reschedule or two we shoot through it. Some of my favourite images have come from days with uncooperative weather.
How many images will I get?
Your amount of images depends on the package you pick. But my standard and most popular package comes with 40 images. For weddings it’s very dependant on hours of coverage, when you look at my detailed packages it will say how many images to expect.
How long does it take to get my photos?
Your full gallery for your session is available after 3-4 weeks. For weddings sneak peaks within 7 days but your gallery takes up to 18 weeks.
How will I receive my images?
You will receive an email with a link to your full gallery and a download pin. No-one can download your images without this pin (feel free to share it with friends and families however) and your gallery link can be shared with friends and families as well.
Can I get all of the raw photos?
I do not give out my unedited images. We will use many different prompts and move to many different locations during our session, not every one of these images will work out due to circumstances such as lighting, colouring, co-operation, etc. The images you receive are the best images from our session and they are all something I am incredibly proud to put my name and brand behind. When you book with me you are paying for my brand, and my style of editing as well.
How long do you keep our files?
After six months your files are deleted from my hard drives. Please make sure to download and back up all your images once you receive them from me.
What are your wedding packages?
I have four different wedding packages, and offer hourly coverage if your eloping and interested in less coverage. My packages start at $2200 for your wedding day. What do I wear? I’ve never had photos done before, I’m nervous and am not sure how to pose or what to do at our session?
Just breathe, I am here for you and to make sure we have so much fun together. I have a whole document I send out to my clients about a week before the session that goes over what to wear, what to bring and overall what to expect at our session.
